A police incident has shut a major road in Perth’s north-eastern suburbs, causing traffic chaos on Tuesday morning.
Tonkin Highway is closed northbound before Reid Highway in Noranda in Perth’s west.
Emergency services were on site from around 8am on Tuesday, due to a serious police incident.
Commuters are being told to avoid the area and to exit the highway earlier, with drivers facing heavy congestion through the area.
