A head-on car crash is causing peak-hour traffic chaos in Perth’s south-eastern suburbs this afternoon.

Leach Highway has been closed westbound on the Orrong Road overpass in Welshpool after four cars were involved in a crash.

The collision occurred about 2.50pm, according to WA Police.

Three motorists have been rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The condition of a fourth motorist is unknown at this stage.
