Motorists are being warned to brace for delays across Perth after a string of crashes snarled traffic on some of the city’s busiest roads.

An earlier crash on Ellen Stirling Boulevard at Oswald Street in Innaloo — involving a white Subaru driven by a 20-year-old Mirrabooka man and a Toyota Camry turning into Westfield Innaloo — has been cleared, with traffic flowing freely.

The young driver told PerthNow that he was on his way to start a 9am shift at a phone store inside the shopping centre when the collision happened.

He said the impact left him shaken and while he walked away without injury, he believed adrenaline may have been masking any soreness.

His said that his vehicle was written off and he would likely wait about a week before getting back behind the wheel.

The Camry driver, a woman believed to be in her 30s or 40s, was taken to hospital by St John Ambulance with minor injuries.

But fresh crashes are continuing to cause headaches for commuters across the metro area.

A vehicle rollover on Armadale Road eastbound at Wright Road in Piara Waters has triggered lane closures, with traffic building quickly on approach.

Emergency crews remain on site as motorists are urged to slow down and take care through the area.

Further north, a crash on Kwinana Freeway northbound at Thomas Road in The Spectacles has been reduced to a single lane.

Drivers have been forced into a slow merge, with congestion heavy on approach.

Earlier, crashes on Tonkin Highway northbound at the Guildford Road exit in Bayswater and Wanneroo Road southbound at Beach Road in Girrawheen also caused significant delays.
