Madagascar is like no other place in the world.
Separated from mainland Africa millions of years ago, it became a living laboratory of evolution, where lemurs, chameleons and towering baobabs evolved in remarkable isolation.

The itinerary stretches from Madagascar’s capital Antananarivo, through the central highlands and into the lush rainforests of Ranomafana, before continuing south to the dramatic sandstone formations of Isalo National Park and the baobab-dotted south-west coast at Ifaty.
The return journey heads north to Andasibe, home of the haunting call of the indri — Madagascar’s largest lemur — and a visit to the famous Lemur Island.
