Drivers injured in Como car crash near Canning Bridge Train Station

Police are investigating whether a car running a red light caused a serious crash in Como on Monday night.

The crash happened about 6.15pm near the Canning Bridge Train Station intersection.

Police say two vehicles collided at the intersection, with one of the vehicles then rolling into a third vehicle.

“It is believed at this stage that one of the vehicles has gone through a red light, causing the collision,” police said in a statement.

Two of the drivers were taken to hospital, though their injuries are not believed to be serious.

Inquiries into the crash are ongoing.
