A terrible incident at a children’s bowling alley has killed a 28-year-old worker.
Melike Yeter was an employee at a children’s playground in Çorum, Turkey.
While at work at a playground’s bowling alley, Yeter attempted to fix the mechanical mechanism which adjusts the pins, local outlet Manşet Haber reported.
The large, metal machine suddenly fell on the 28-year-old, severely injuring her.
Medical treatment was provided by colleagues until paramedics arrived and transported her to Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital.
After examination and treatment, Yeter was deemed to be in good health and was discharged from hospital, Afyon News reported.
The Sun reported that she had been in hospital for two-and-a-half hours prior to discharge.
However, once at home, she became seriously ill and began vomiting violently.
Yeter returned to hospital, where it was revealed that the incident had caused internal bleeding.
She was admitted to the intensive care unit.
Yeter became critical and, despite efforts from medical staff, died.
An autopsy revealed her cause of death was acute internal bleeding caused by a ruptured liver.
The 28-year-old was a newlywed who had only been married for three months before her tragic death.

He is also accused of forcing Yeter to carry out sangerous maintenance duties.
