Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir has declared the team’s improvement in the second half of the season won’t guarantee them anything next year and everyone has to demand more of each other to end the club’s finals drought.

The Dockers lost to the Western Bulldogs 11.8 (74) to 6.8 (44) in Cairns last night and ended the 2020 season in 12th place. It was one rung higher than last season, and the first time Fremantle have been out of the bottom six since the club entered its rebuild in 2016.

Longmuir said Fremantle still had plenty of work to do to challenge the rest of the competition.
