A policeman is a person of interest in a missing persons case involving a former Channel 10 presenter and his Qantas flight attendant partner.

Grave concerns are held for former Jesse Baird, 26, and his partner, flight attendant Luke Davies, 29, after bloodied clothes, credit cards and keys — believed to belong to the pair — were found in a skip bin in Cronulla in Sydney’s south.

It’s understood an employee at a nearby venue reported the items to police after finding them about 11am on Wednesday. The pair were last seen in Paddington, in Sydney’s inner-east, on Monday before Mr Davies’ family raised the alarm after being unable to contact their son.

A search for the missing duo was launched and Mr Baird’s terrace home in Paddington was later declared a crime scene after police found a “large amount of blood” and bloodstained furniture at the house. Forensic investigators combed through items and furniture from Mr Baird’s home, and neighbours were quizzed for any possible clues.

Two cars were seized from the property, as well as a third from a separate location.

But the case took a sensational twist on Thursday night when it was revealed detectives were searching for a third man after talking to families.

NSW Police officer Beau Lamarre is being sought in connection to the disappearance of the men. Lamarre was the ex-boyfriend of Baird and had previously worked as an online blogger where he met A-listers including Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian.

In 2020 the policeman made headlines after video footage of him tasering a man in the face went viral before he was cleared of wrongdoing by NSW police.

The Australian reported Mr Lamarre was seen outside the home Kourtney Kardashian was staying at last week during her visit to Sydney where he tried to get a photo.

Mr Davies’ Waterloo home, in Sydney’s inner-south, was also found empty.

Mr Baird is a goal umpire and was due to officiate a practice match between the Sydney Swans and Greater Western Sydney Giants on Thursday.

The AFL contacted his family on Thursday after he failed to attend the match.

Det-Supt Jodi Radmore said police feared for both men and urged them to make contact.

She said the amount of blood at the Paddington house suggested at least one person had suffered a “significant injury”.
