Perth detectives seeking public’s help after man assaulted and stabbed in CBD
Police are investigating after a man was assaulted and stabbed while walking through Perth’s CBD.
The terrifying attack happened about 4.55am on May 8.
Police said the victim — aged in his 20s — was approached by four unknown people at the intersection of Barrack Street and St Georges Terrace before he was violently assaulted with an unknown weapon.
The victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital where he was treated for stab wounds to his back.
Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to the incident and have released photos of a person who may be able to assist them with the investigation.
