Truck rolls over in Minding on Easter Monday with 78-year-old driver escaping without serious injury

A truck driver was treated for injuries after his refrigerator truck rolled on a remote stretch of road in the Shire of Wagin on Easter Monday. Emergency services were called to Arthur and Dellyanine roads in Minding just before 12pm on Monday to assist the truck driver after his vehicle left the road and rolled. Police say the 78-year-old man was able to free himself from the vehicle which came to a stop in the middle of a one-way road on the crest of a hill. He was treated by St John WA for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene and was not transported to hospital. The man was the only passenger of the truck which was on its way from Boulder. Crews from Wagin and Williams volunteer fire and rescue services attended to assist.
