Australind Tennis Club officially unveiled its new courts with an open day on Saturday.
Club president Janet Varney thanked all those who worked to bring about the new courts including life member Greg Sawyer and immediate past president Lyn Richards.

Members of the Harvey Shire Council attended along with club patron and Forrest MHR Nola Marino and a number of past presidents.
Ms Marino congratulated those involved in the project and encouraged all members to continue volunteering in running and improving the club so each generation can enjoy its facilities.

After a morning tea, players took to the courts with the acrylic multi-layered cushioning surfacing system, the first of its kind in WA, in friendly matches.
