YARLOOP Car Show could be making a comeback early next year with WA car enthusiasts coming together and at the same time rebuilding part of the town with money raised.

Oakford resident and American Car Club member Steve Eatwell connected with Yarloop residents on his Facebook car page which sparked his interest in bringing the car show back.

“I always wanted to do a car show and run a fundraiser with it,” he said.

“A lot of people seem to be excited about it.”

“It’s not just about a car show, a lot of people would come down here and put Yarloop back in the spotlight again.”

Mr Eatwell said he had heard from a number of WA car clubs interested in the show and was in the process of setting the date.

“I’m looking at January because I want it reasonably warm,” he said.

Mr Eatwell said the show would be open to all types of cars and include a show and shine event with prizes and plaques.
