Firefighters battled a blaze on bushland behind houses on Tributary Place in Leschenault today, receiving a call-out at 2.07pm.

Resident Warren Crookshank said his wife made the call to DFES after he saw flames in the bushland next to his house.

“I came home to have some lunch, I came out here and I saw the trees on fire,” he said.

No injuries or property damage have been reported.

Crews from the Leschenault attended the scene first with members of the Harvey, Brunswick Junction and Binningup Bushfire Brigades following.

More details to come.
