Full day of action planned at Bunbury

The City of Bunbury will celebrate Australia Day from dawn to well past dusk on Friday with a range of events in the SkyFest Australia Day Celebrations.

It all starts with the breakfast at 6.30am in Bicentennial Square, followed by the Bunbury Runners Club Fun Run at 7am at the Leschenault Inlet.

From 8.30am, at the Graham Bricknell Memorial Music Shell, the Mayor’s Citizenship and Awards will be presented.

A range of rides and amusements will be kicking off from 11am at sideshow alley which will run to 3pm on Saturday.

Entertainment, activities and food will available to the whole family from 4pm including bush tucker food experiences, Lions train rides, free waterslides at Sprinkler City, rock climbing, a Kids Stage, rope courses and more.

For the first year, the Rally 4 Respect march will coincide with Australia Day celebrations, starting at 4pm from the Stirling Street Arts Centre to the music shell.

The family concert at the music shell will feature a range of Bunbury and South West talent including headliners Great Gable.

Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre will also be hosting international DJ’s Mashd N Kutcher from 6pm at The Cube garden party.
