Gallery: Australia Day celebrations in Preston Beach

The close community of Preston Beach welcomed residents new and old to Australia Day celebrations at the community hall on Friday.

Preston Beach Progress Association president Judy Carroll said Australia Day was the last event planned in the hall which was set to be demolished and replaced later this year.

Murray-Wellington MLA and Preston Beach resident Robyn Clarke made the acknowledgement of country and the community choir Sing Australia led the National Anthem and performed We Are Australian.

Attendees then sat down to an Aussie lunch of a lamb roll and pavlova.
