Trailer load spill on South Western Highway

VideoA semi-trailer’s load rolled over on the southbound lanes on South Western Highway near the Coalfields Highway intersection this morning.

Traffic was redirected on south-bound lanes of South Western Highway earlier today, causing delays for motorists.

The trailer of a semi-trailer truck rolled over on South Western Highway, near the Coalfields Highway intersection.

The trailer on the truck tipped on its side, spilling its load onto the verge.

Police are redirecting all southbound traffic towards Forrest Highway.

Northbound lanes are unaffected.

A loader tractor attended the site to assist in clearing the scene, and police and a tow truck were standing by.

It is not yet known what caused the trailer to tip over.
