The $439,800 Division One winning Saturday Lotto ticket bought from Australind News & Post has been claimed.

A retired couple from Australind, who have been using the same numbers for 33 years, have now stepped forward.

More than three decades ago the couple and their children picked their lucky numbers and each filled out a few games on a 12-game ticket.

“I’ve been playing that same set on Lotto weekly ever since,” the woman said.

The couple said they had saved enough for their retirement, but the prize will make travel dreams come true for the woman who has been battling a serious illness for 20 years.

“My illness makes it very difficult to travel long distances, but now we’ll be able to afford the extras to make an overseas trip more comfortable,” she said.

“Maybe one day I’ll finish ticking off my bucket list.”
