Oz Lotto results draw #1674: One WA ticketholder nets insane $15 million Tuesday jackpot

One fortunate West Aussie ticketholder has netted the entire Oz Lotto jackpot on Tuesday night.

The local was the only player to secure seven winnings numbers, landing them an insane division one windfall to the tune of $15 million.

It can be revealed the winning ticket was sold through Lotterywest Play Online.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said the mammoth windfall marks the first Oz Lotto jackpot win for the State this year.

“We can’t wait to meet the owner of this life-changing $15 million prize and welcome them into the Lotterywest Winners Room,” she said.

“It’s fantastic to celebrate another Division One OZ Lotto win in WA after a northern suburbs couple won a $15 million OZ Lotto prize last December, all thanks to a ticket using their favourite numbers.”

And lucky the Sandgroper was, with the odds of setting off the Oz Lotto jackpot just one in 62,891,499, according to Lotterywest.

Good fortune was shared around to players across the nation in division two, with five Aussies baking an impressive $54,632.90 each.

Division three dished out handy cash boosts worth more than $4,420 to 73 ticketholders.

The winning numbers for draw #1674 were 18, 24, 45, 6, 2, 47 and 25. The supps were 3, 22 and 10.

Tuesday’s luck comes after a WA war veteran came forward to collect his division one winnings from Saturday’s draw just weeks before his 81st birthday.

The Cannington local revealed he plans to share his new-found fortune of $2.3m with his children.

“It’s a lot of money at my age and I want to be able to witness the joy it brings to their lives,” he said.

“I’ll take more day trips, like back to Busselton where I used to live and to Mandurah to see family — it’s a hell of a cab fare to Mandurah, but now I won’t have to worry.”
