SW bridge to take its first traffic

South Western Times

Vehicles will be able to drive across the Millbridge-Treendale Bridge for the first time on Friday.

A “soft opening” for the bridge has been scheduled by the Harvey Shire Council.

Harvey shire president Tania Jackson said the completion of the bridge was the result of years of hard work.

“What the completion of this bridge means is that it will bring our two communities closer together,” she said.

“It will also mean that emergency services will have far better access.”
