Five teenagers injured after car hits tree in Paynedale in Perth’s South West
A 14-year-old boy is fighting for life after a car he was travelling in with four other teenagers slammed into a tree in WA’ South West.
Police say the teens — one as young as 13 — were travelling in a Toyota Corolla down Knights Road in Paynedale, near Donnybrook, just after 5pm on Tuesday.
A 17-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy — who were both passengers in the car — were airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital by helicopter.
The boy remained in a critical condition inside RPH’s intensive care unit on Wednesday night.
The driver, another 14-year-old boy, and a 16-year-old boy passenger were rushed to Bunbury Hospital with serious injuries.
A 13-year-old boy was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
No charges have been laid by police yet.
