Two dead and three injured after truck v car crash in Ludlow in WA’s South West

Two people are dead and three have been seriously injured following a devastating collision in Ludlow today.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Bussell Highway around 3.45pm, where it is believed a car and a ute had collided before one had hit a truck.

It is understood two women in the car had died at the scene while three men in the ute suffered serious injuries.

One of the men is fighting for his life at Royal Perth Hospital, while the other two are in a stable condition at the Bunbury Hospital.

The truck driver escaped serious injury and is helping police with their enquiries.

Bussell Highway has been closed in both directions at Ludlow-Hithergreen Road and major crash detectives are on scene investigating what caused the tragic double fatality.
